The book of Acts is the continuing story by Luke of what Jesus has done and is now doing from heaven by his Spirit in the lives of his followers to advance the Kingdom of God on the earth through the Gospel. In this first part of our study of Acts, we will consider the Gospel, the coming of the Spirit, and the birth and growth of the church up through the conversion of Saul in Acts 9. Join us as we hear and look to live out Jesus’ invitation in Acts 1:8, to everyone that would claim the name of Christ, to be Spirit empowered witnesses to the ends of the earth.

We will spend the next four weeks focusing on Old Testament prophecies of Jesus and their fulfillment in the New Testament in the life and work of Jesus. As we celebrate and prepare for Jesus’ arrival, let’s do all we can this Christmas season to keep our eyes on Him!
