After an unexpected flight delay that kept us from arriving in Guatemala until this morning, we’re grateful to the Lord that we made it to Iglesia Galilea’s church service! God had his hand over our travels, He is so good and faithful. Sean, Benjamin, Sandy, and Jackie served with the worship team and Jared did the sermon and spoke on the story of Samson, with Tono translating. It was a blessing to worship all together – what a beautiful picture of the nations united praising our Lord. After the service, we enjoyed a meal together provided by the church.

Later on in the evening, we headed to Membrillal to help with a “Couples Dinner” – a date night for couples at the Iglesia Galilea Membrillal! We helped lead worship and Jared taught on marriage and how marriage is a picture of Christ and the church – the Gospel! Our team helped look over the parents’ kids and we also helped serve the food at the end of the service. It’s been such a joy serving the Guatemalan people here. We can’t wait for what the Lord will continue to do this week.
