Today was the final full day in Croatia. We have been richly blessed by God and the people here. Melanija brought back the charcuterie board with yogurt, muesli, and eggs, as we considered the doctrine of sin and salvation over coffee. At 11:30, it was time to say ciao to our friends and head to Varaždin, our next destination.
Danijel and Ksenia were waiting with three boys under 6 years old, who brought out jigsaw puzzles to play with us. Then they showed off the local playground and their four chickens, with 6 more to come.

Over borscht and homemade sour dough bread, Ksenia discussed outreach opportunities to evangelize to their neighbors, especially the children. She’d been baking bread to share with the moms and plant ideas about vacation bible school. Their church Crkva Emanuel Varaždin is growing from incoming visitors and workers.
Join us in continuing to pray for Danijel’s chemotherapy, one week every month until August and plans to attend seminary. For baby Ilijas who is growing bigger and has recovered well from heart surgery. For Ukranian refugees to open their hearts to the gospel. And for the resolution to many wars worldwide.

Tomorrow we’ll return to SLC. We have been blessed by these friends in Croatia, who are ever our our minds. Pray for God’s blessing on them as they live out His mission in a place that needs His gospel of salvation. Thank you for joining our adventure this year and consider taking the plunge with us next year. Bog blagoslovio.
