A Not So Silent Night

Annual Christmas Concert

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Join us for our 10th annual Christmas concert – usually the first or second weekend of December.

We love to call this show “A Not So Silent Night” as we turn up the volume on the joy and good news of Jesus by presenting Christmas songs like you’ve never heard them before. Guitars, drums, amazing vocals, and violin! You definitely don’t want to miss this!

This is an all ages event and is absolutely FREE! Seats are first come first served. Doors open at 6pm so make sure you come early to get a good seat. Invite your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors and enjoy a cookie reception in the lobby afterward.

Also be sure to make plans to join us on Christmas Eve (December 24) for our Christmas Eve Candlelight service.

Humility that Leads to Exaltation

In a world that is caught up in appearances, strength, power, and beauty, Peter urges something to us that is counterintuitive. He bases this way of living on Christ himself. The king of the universe who humbled himself in obedience to the Father as he came to serve us in humility. And the result? Jesus was exalted to heaven and the right hand of God. And now Peter tells us if you want share in Christ’s exaltation, then humble yourself to God’s will for your life. He then proceeds to talk about humble church leadership, humble Christian living, and finally exhorts us to stand Firm in the Faith.

From Series: "2025 - Firm in the Faith: 1 Peter "

Life can be difficult and it is easy to focus more on the obstacles that confront us everyday over Jesus. 1 Peter is a book of hope that reminds us of what Jesus has done for us as believers to make our salvation sure. Peter wants to tilt our head up from the day to day problems of life to remember the hope of our salvation in Christ. He encourages us to have a forward lean to our faith that is looking forward to the completion of our salvation when Christ returns. His message to us is that if you can keep your eyes focused on what Jesus has accomplished and our salvation to come, you can face any obstacle in life-Firm in the Faith. Join us as we hear what God has to say to us as we explore this short and punchy book over the summer!
