We set off from Split at 7:30 am (aka midnight Utah time), filled up with $7 per gallon gas, and got our picture and fingerprints taken at the border into Bosnia. The rolling hill coastline was still spectacular, even through sleepy eyes. The Regional Christian Conference gathers 8 churches around the southern Croatia and Bosnia annually. We did not know what to expect. But connection through Christ was immediate. Around 75 people enjoyed singing praise song (from 2 different churches), hearing testimonies from two people who had overcome challenges that Satan had given them in life, and 2 sermons on Luke 12:35, letting your light shine. We took an hour to pray in small groups for requests from local churches. Then took a 2 hour lunch break in between to catch up.

After many contact info exchanges, we rushed off to make the next island ferry to Korcula. We could hardly feel the ship moving. God was watching out for us. Our hotel was overbooked. However, we ended up staying with Neven and Christina, one of the church elders.

Please continue to pray for Andrea. She is awake and doing better, but has a significant recovery from hematoma ahead of her. Pray also for the churches in southern Croatia and Bosnia. We pray that their outreach would be used by God to grow His kingdom. Scott will give his first of three sermons on Sunday morning.
