Living for Jesus Every Day

We will continue in our study of Acts 8:4-40 looking at Philip and his ministry to the Samaritans and the Ethiopian Eunuch. The great thing about Philip is that even in times of distress and persecution, he was faithful to spread the Gospel. His life challenges us to think deeply about how we react to life’s interruptions – do we get angry and frustrated, or do we trust that God is doing something bigger and look for ways to be faithful.

The book of Acts is the continuing story by Luke of what Jesus has done and is now doing from heaven by his Spirit in the lives of his followers to advance the Kingdom of God on the earth through the Gospel. In this first part of our study of Acts, we will consider the Gospel, the coming of the Spirit, and the birth and growth of the church up through the conversion of Saul in Acts 9. Join us as we hear and look to live out Jesus’ invitation in Acts 1:8, to everyone that would claim the name of Christ, to be Spirit empowered witnesses to the ends of the earth.
