Have you ever asked yourself, “What should I do now?” As humans we often wrestle with the things that come into our life and how we should respond to them. We need Godly wisdom with which to meet the demands of our lives. This summer will be Walking in Wisdom in Proverbs 1-9, & 31 letting God teach us what practical, Godly living looks like for the Christian. Proverbs 1:7 tells us the starting point of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. We invite you to take this journey with us as we learn what wisdom looks like, sounds like, and the good effect wisdom can have on our lives in Jesus.

Throughout the history of Christianity, Christians placed their hope not in the temporalities of this life, but were constantly looking forward to the completion of their salvation when Jesus returns or they step into eternity. 1 Peter 1:3-9is a good guide in how to have a future hope that gives us life now. 1 Peter 1:3 says God has caused believers to be born again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus from the Dead. This means this is an active hope, that is producing joy and expectation in us. Peter goes on to say that we have a great inheritance that God is keeping in heaven for us, and all of this causes us to rejoice now.
Unlike other things we may hope in, our hope in Christ is sure. His resurrection proves what God has said he is doing to save us. Because Jesus rose from the grave, we can have a sure hope that we will too. This means whatever life throws at us, for believers, everything is going to end really well.
