    2026 - Zechariah - Prisoners of Hope

    2 Messages

Spiritual renewal is at the heart of Zechariah. In Zechariah 1:3 God’s people are invited to return to a relationship with him through repentance. After many years in exile God is going to show Israel mercy and compassion, redeem them out of their situation, and dwell with and bless the people again. Of course, this will ultimately come through the Messiah, Israel’s righteous king that will bring salvation to Israel and the world through the blood of his covenant. In the midst of defeat, God is bringing new encouragement and hope of a better future through God’s son. Zechariah 8:12 calls the people ‘prisoners of hope’–meaning though they still face the difficulties of the situations they find themselves in, they have a new undeniable hope in the God that he will restore all things and dwell with his people again. We invite you to come and join us as we learn from Zechariah what it means to hope in the Gospel.

Revelation - The Seven Seals

Today we will continue our Revelation series looking at Revelation 6-8:5 and the opening of the seven seals. This is where things get spicy! As we go through the second part of our Revelation series, the goal is not to understand every detail, but rather the big things God wants to say to us about what is to come and how we can persevere as believers in faith through it all. In these chapters we wrestle with the question, ‘Who can stand in the midst of the judgments God is bringing on the earth?’ The answer is those that have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and sealed by God for salvation.

Scripture References: Genesis 6:1-17, Genesis 7:1-17, Genesis 8:1-5

Revelation is a mysterious book, but John tells us in Revelation 1:3 that it is a blessing to read, hear, and follow. In the first part of our series (Rev 1-3) we learned that the book as a whole is calling us to persevere in faith as we see the day of Christ return drawing near. In Revelation 4:1 Jesus says he is now going to show John “what must take place after this.” In the second part of our Revelation series we will explore all that Jesus has said will take place from Revelation 4-22. We will start with the Lamb in the throne room of God, and end with the Lamb dwelling with us in the New Heavens and New Earth. We invite you to come and learn about what Jesus has said is to come and how to persevere in faith through it all.
