Prayer for Sunday service started at 9:30am. Pastor Milan prayed for Scott, the message from Zachariah 1, the churches in SLC, and for God’s name to be glorified wherever he’s worshipped. About 70 people rolled in as praise music began.

After the service, we visited with church friends we’ve met over the years. Then off to the next city, Karlovac. Pastor Ladislov and his wife, Melanija hosted us for lunch. She prepared a 7-course meal since she didn’t know what we liked. Beef soup, marinated pork, chicken rice, with lots of gnocchi, veggies and bread.

Evening service at the Baptist Church also started with praise songs, before Scott repeated the message for the new audience at Karlovac.

Coffee fellowship included a continued wedding celebration from yesterday and salt water taffy from Salt Lake. Merria and Galina, Ukranian refugees we had met last year, appreciated prayers for their family and country.

Time to eat again. We enjoyed charcuterie, cheese, and cracker picnic for dinner upstairs, then taught Ricochet Robots and the Crew games to our friends. Wouldn’t be surprised if we gained weight from such great hospitality and fellowship with Christian friends.
