Hello Church!

Our team arrived safely in Guatemala without any complications, praise God! We’re so thankful for a smooth, predictable, and uneventful travel day. After settling in for a peaceful evening at beautiful La Mission, we woke up ready to hit the ground running.

To start the day, our Risen Life worship team had the incredible privilege of leading worship alongside Iglesia Galilea. It was such an honor to worship with our Guatemalan brothers and sisters in Christ! Hearing the voices of Iglesia Galilea lifted together in praise truly felt like a glimpse of eternity.

After Sunday service, we gathered together for fellowship and shared a meal, or should we say tortillas! The Iglesia Galilea service team has shown us nothing but kindness, hospitality, and genuine love since the moment we arrived. We already feel incredibly welcomed here.

This evening, Iglesia Galilea’s Pastor Sean led a study and workshop for their worship team. It was such a meaningful time of encouragement, growth, and connection. At the end of the workshop, Pastor Sean surprised the team with a very special gift donated by a generous member of our church: a brand new acoustic guitar! The team was absolutely thrilled, and we know this gift will be used faithfully for God’s glory for years to come. What an incredible blessing!

    As we continue our week, we’re excited to see all that God is doing through the ministry of Iglesia Galilea and the people faithfully serving here. We would love your continued prayers,  specifically for our team’s health, safety, energy, and protection against illness as we serve throughout the week. Please also pray for the upcoming pastoral conference, that God would move powerfully through every conversation, teaching session, and moment of fellowship.
