Another transit day. Thankfully there was less rain than yesterday. After checking out of our room, we trekked 2.4 km on the city walls and prayed. The stunning coastline was a testament to God’s glory. We prayed for godly leadership, for permanent locations, for the Holy Spirit to open hearts, and for wisdom of the small congregations here.

Next we prayed for the Baptist Church (of Dubrovnik) in a drive-by because again, we couldn’t find the road to the church below from the bridge above.

In the spirit of cultural immersion we ordered the house specialty at a street side restaurant, the Neretva fish stew. Eel, frog and white fish in savory tomato sauce. It was delicious and powered us on to the city of Split for the night, on our way to Rijeka tomorrow. After one year, we finally visit the church in Rijeka again! Pray for our journey.
